That is an interesting web page. Not exactly comprehensive, however, but interesting.

Although his website covers only stocks/bonds related to North American Railroads, you might want to look at how he has set up his website. He used to be a dealer/collector but now is concentrating wholly on accumulating data for his website and his published catalog. This website has turned into an extremely useful tool for the scripophily community. I use it almost daily to determine rarity, value, etc., much like your intentions for the "proof project".
