If interested, follow this link, click on the catalog for the January 17 auction, advance to page three and scan halfway down the page. There are a few notes from other places, but more from NY than anywhere else. I've put in a few lowball bids just to insure that if the notes are given away they'll be given to me... but I'd be happy to be outbid by someone who is sincerely interested in the notes.

Oh by the way, this auction is advertised as a Stamp and Coin auction, and the notes are being totally downplayed. Seems like a real potential for undervalued finds to me.

I guess I outbid you on some lots but still did not get anything. One lot had several SENC notes of interest.

I won 9 of the 11 lots I bid on. Crazy cheap.

I called the auction house yesterday and found that the information I got in the e-mail was incorrect. In fact I won NONE of the lots. I was told everything went for at least twice my high bid. Oh well.

I bid about 260 on a lot of several G/VG NY obsoletes and was outbid. There were 2 or 3 SENC notes in the lot, so someone must have been knowledgeable.
